Father’s day is the one day of the year that dads really get the recognition for all that they do for their families.
My husband has been so strong supporting our family in very tough times. He works to provide for us. He has so much on his shoulders but he doesn’t waver from his faith or family. He supports and teaches our precious little girl new things every day. I look at him with gratitude everyday because I know that he is going to show Eliza how a man should properly treat her.
However, not all ‘fathers’ are there for their children. It is easy to father a child. That is the fun part! It is not so easy to parent a child and be the DAD that they need.
For the mothers that work crazy hours and do everything on their own for their children. Happy FATHERS day! You are so strong to be able to take care of your children by yourself. I know that this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life and I don’t know where I would be without my husband.
Please! If the father of your children is around and supports them, whether or not you are together, please make sure that today you thank him.
Not all men stay, only the good ones.
